I was furious & outraged and, with little hope, did not know what to do. Sitting in disbelief, I started to think where could I get quality PLUMBING SERVICE to help me in the middle of this horrendous night. I "GOOGLED" plumbing services with quality customer retention & late night calls and skimmed through a few websites & stumbled upon "Overland Plumbing." I gave "Overland Plumbing" the benefit of the doubt & called them at once. I was amazed by how fast Overland Plumbing called me back after leaving a message. I received a call back from an Elaina who had an angel voice and sweet approach. Calming me down, she scheduled an estimate and visit immediately. Within less than 5 minutes, I was given an estimate order and emergency call. Mind you, that out of all days this mishap happened on a Sunday; "My Luck." Shortly thereafter, I received a courtesy call an hour after I scheduled the call and a Jeremy knocked on my door ready to service. He greeted himself PROFESSIONALLY and immediately got straight to work without hesitation. Not only did Jeremy do an outstanding job, he did it safely and most importantly fast! Oh my lord!! If it wasn't for Overland Plumbing, I would be knee deep in more __ __ __ __ than I already was before I called "Overland Plumbing." 5★★★★★ - "The drain pipe in the common garage of our HOA building was old (building was built in 1981), cracked, and leaking. The HOA knew it had to be replaced and proceeded to brief several plumbing companies on the scope of the project. Overland Plumbing quickly rose to the top of our list. They are a licensed, family-owned company that has been serving Los Angeles, The San Fernando Valley, and Ventura County since 1984. From their administrative staff to the technicians to the owner himself, Overland soon distinguished themselves as a cut above the rest in their personal, hands-on approach. Tyler, one of Overland's terrific technicians, was assigned to assess our situation. He was timely, professional, and thorough, taking detailed measurements while speaking with and sending a video to the owner of the company, Isaac Giladi. Isaac soon called to make certain he understood the situation; and we, in turn, explained the specific needs of our HOA regarding liability and workman's comp insurance, including naming the HOA as an Additional Insured. We quickly received their proposal/estimate and compared it to the others we reviewed. Overland's proposal was comprehensive and their estimate was appropriate; and once hired, they quickly submitted the necessary insurances. The replacement of the drain pipe in the garage went smoothly, but in checking their work in anticipation of the inspection, they discovered a significant blockage beyond the perimeter of the garage and informed us immediately. Santa Monica is notorious for having Ficus roots invade drain and sewer pipes, and our specific issue was complicated by the placement of the pipe, which was outside the garage and running through a retaining brick wall. Overland soon provided a resourceful, well-researched solution to a rather complex situation and we asked them to continue with what was now Phase Two of the project. Covid had put a significant strain on the timely issuance of permits by the City of Santa Monica and subsequent inspections. Overland remained steadfast throughout the circuitous process and Isaac and his son, Tal, were front and center during the virtual inspection which took place in the pouring rain and was conducted via mobile phones. The work was approved outright. We have already asked Overland to assist us in locating the source of an additional leak and we anticipate using them for our plumbing needs - both HOA and individual homeowners - going forward."

I called Overland Plumbing (who had flushed out my hot water heater) hoping to get an appointment for Monday (today is Friday 1 PM and there's no way they're coming today). The primary issue was a brand new tankless water heater, which turned out to be a propane model wrongly hooked up to natural gas. Kevin from Overland swiftly identified this potentially dangerous oversight, something that had been missed by two previous inspectors. Promptly diagnosing the issue with the manufacturer, Kevin texted me to warn of the safety risk and advised me to disconnect the unit. By the following morning, he'd confirmed the issue and had arranged for a replacement Navien heater suitable for natural gas. Not only did he get it quickly, but the price was also around 25% lower than another quote I'd received. Additionally, Kevin attended to some fixtures around the house that weren't installed correctly, adjusting them without charging extra. His commitment to top-notch service really stood out to me. We also had a persistent issue with a sewer smell in one of our bathrooms. It was a complex problem that had left several other plumbers from different companies puzzled. Despite initially being stumped on his visit mainly to install the heater, Kevin didn't give up. Eventually, he tracked down the cause—an uncapped vent pipe hidden behind the drywall. His smart approach saved me from tearing down the entire wall and resetting the toilets, as suggested by others. The whole plumbing experience turned into a bit of a saga, but Overland Plumbing, and Kevin in particular, really took the time to solve the problems and put my mind at ease.
